About MedigapGuide
MedigapGuide was created to help people turning 65 — and those already on Medicare — cut through the confusion around Medicare supplement insurance.
Medicare supplement (also called Medigap) plans can be genuinely complicated. The jargon is thick, the options are many, and the stakes are high. We built this site to give straightforward, honest answers without the sales pressure.
What we do
We publish free, plain-English guides on topics like Plan G vs Plan N, how much Medigap really costs, when you can sign up, and what each plan actually covers. Every guide is written specifically for people who aren’t insurance experts — because most people aren’t, and that’s fine.
Our editorial standards
We research each topic using official sources including Medicare.gov, CMS data, and published rate information. We update guides when rules or numbers change. We do not sell insurance, we are not affiliated with any insurance company, and we do not earn commissions on any plan you choose.
Who’s behind this site
MedigapGuide is an independent publication focused on consumer education. We believe everyone deserves clear information about their healthcare coverage options — not just people who can afford a financial advisor.
